SeaDarQ Hydrography gives you currents and depth information at high resolution and high update rate.

Would you like to see currents and depth information in an area of a radius of several kilometers ? Would a resolution of 100x100 m be enough ? And an update rate of 10 minutes ?

The image below shows current vectors (yellow) at the sand engine location in The Netherlands. Processed radar data of the sea surface is shown as an underlay. Together these give a very good insight in the structure of the current at the site. The structure is complex due to the coastal extension and the mixing of salt seawater and the fresh water outflow of the river Rhine.

The data is being used by researchers and coastal management to position measurement equipment like ADCPs and to improve swimmer safety.
